A Delicate Necklace of Blue Jade Briolettes and Bronze Miyuki Tubes

Being aware that not every woman likes large beads or a statement necklace, I decided to create a few necklaces that are delicate in nature yet, noticeable.

In this case, I took faceted medium blue jade beads, strung them with twisted, bronze Miyuki glass tubes, and spaced them with tiny bronze seed beads.

I am always fascinated by the Japanese Miyuki beads. I marvel at how the manufacturer succeeds in making the glass tubes so thin and with such a small hole! I love to use them in my designs.

The one-of-a-kind necklace is 18 ½” long and ends with an ornate 5/8” diamond-shaped toggle clasp.

The dyed blue jade briolette beads are approximately 14 mm. x 6 mm. The bronze tubes are 12 mm. x 2 mm.

The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box.
