A Necklace of Delft Looking Bottles and Baby Blue Pearls

Delft is the Dutch city where pottery and jewelry with blue on white designs became popular and a world brand. The Delft designs and technique were copied and imitated all over the world.
This necklace has beads in the shape of small, cute bottles (or tear drops, if you wish.) they were hand- made and decorated in the Delft colors in Japan.
I hung the bottles on a chain of lovely baby blue fresh water pearls, separated by round bright blue sodalite beads.
The one-of-a-kind necklace is 17” long and ends with a 1/2“ pewter toggle clasp.
The bottle-beads are 25 mm x 15 mm, the pearls are 12 mm. and the sodalite beads are 3 mm.
