Usually, the gemstone labradorite has many pearly, iridescent colors, which are caused by internal fractures that, in reflecting light, disperse it into different colors. In this case, the stone is unique: it only has dark gray, black, and silver.
To give the pendant/necklace a touch of Christmas, I added one red glass bead and topped it with a black metal “hat.”
I hung the pendant on a 24” gunmetal chain–any silver chain of any length would look good with it. l added a ring at the end of the chain in order to make it easier to fasten.
The pendant is 2 ¼” x 1 ¼” at its widest.
The teardrop labradorite is 40 mm. x 30 mm.
The red glass bead is 6 mm. D.
The metal hat bead is 17 mm. x10 mm.
The gunmetal Rollo chain is 24” long.
The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box, ready for a gift.
