This type of lapis lazuli beads are known in the trade as “denim lapis” because of its lighter blue markings which are reminiscent of blue denim fabric. These light and dark markings make the beads beautiful.The large beads are 15-16 mm. in diameter. The hand-cut smaller beads are 6-8 mm. 

and the last four beads are 4 mm. each.

The necklace is 17-1/2″ long and can be extended with a 2-1/2″ chain. The chain can easily be removed when not in use. (It does not have to hang on your neck.)
