Aware that not every woman likes large beads or a statement necklace, I decided to create a few necklaces that are more dainty in nature, yet noticeable. I, therefore, started to make this one with Japanese Miyuki beads, which have always fascinated me. I marvel at how the manufacturer succeeds in making the glass tubes so thin—and with such small holes! I love to use them in my designs. So, I took dark pink rhodochrosite briolettes and strung them with twisted, white Miyuki tubes. I also used small white seed beads on each side of the pink beads.
It can be bought with # 633 As you can see, the two necklaces look good together.
It is 19” long and ends with a ½” D. pewter toggle clasp.
The pink briolettes are approximately 15 mm. x 5 mm. (approx. 5/8″ x 3/8″ at the widest)
The white tubes are 12 mm. x 2 mm.
The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box.
