Electric Blue Necklace with a Touch of Turquoise and Cloisonné Focal

Electric blue, sometimes called royal blue, is a popular color this season. It is one of my favorites. I couldn’t resist buying these agate beads even though they are dyed. Unfortunately, I have not seen yet a natural stone in such appealing color and luster.

To enhance the color and look of the blue beads, I separated them with turquoise magnesite round beads, each sandwiched between silver florets. To break the monotony and make the necklace even more fashionable, I added a beautiful, handmade, large cloisonné focal in the same colors.

This 22” long, one-of-a-kind necklace ends with a complementary pewter toggle fastener.

The blue agate oval beads are slightly faceted. They are: 1 ¼” x 5/8” (or 30 mm. x 15 mm).

The turquoise magnesite beads are: 6 mm. D.      The focal is 15 mm. D
