Product Description
Most illusion necklaces are made with chains. I got tired of the look and started making the chains with small beads instead. In this case, I chose hand-cut garnets from India. I actually started with the unusual baby blue hand-made glass beads from Murano, Italy. These beads have a touch of wine color imbedded in them so that, when considering different colors for their chain, I opted for the contrast and the richness of the garnets.
The one-of-a-kind necklace is 33 1/2” long and ends with a ½” silver toggle fastener.
The free form beads are approximately 17 mm. x 14 mm. The garnet beads are 2 mm. in diameter.
