I find the unusual color combination of this pendant very appealing especially I like its “Nature’s design” of delicate twigs and bits of weeds. The whole feel of this large oval jasper is earthy but delicate. I kept it for a long time, holding and looking at it occasionally, but unable to find a suitable chain for it.
However, after I saw the medium brown jasper tubes, I knew they would look good with my favorite pendant. To enliven the chain and connect it to the pendant’s colors, I introduced cute chartreuse jade beads, ending it with a free-form complementary bronze toggle. Throughout the necklace, I used bronze seed beads to separate the larger beads.
The jasper pendant is 60 mm. x 40 mm. (2 ½” x 1 5/8”)
The necklace is 28 ½” long. (The chain is 26”; the pendant, 2 ½”.)
The jasper tubes are 12mm. x 3 mm. The jade beads are 10 mm. long and 8 mm. D. at its widest and 4 mm. D. at its center (at its narrowest?)
The bronze toggle is 1” x 5/8”.
The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box.
