Product Description
The seller who sold me these beautiful gray beads swore that they were not the usual Crazy Lace agate beads that come from Northern Mexico, but crazy lace jasper beads. (I don’t remember from where.)
They must be new in the market because I had difficulty finding much information about this jasper. Regardless, they are beautiful beads, and gray is fashionable, so I had to own them and make a classic necklace out of them. To keep the necklace monochromatic, I separated its beads with pearlized seed beads. To break the monotony, add an interest, and make it more sophisticated, I introduced a large, baroque pearl focal. The odd shape, the roughness, and the size of the cultured pearl are a great contrast to the smooth “lacy” beads. I hope that you like it as much as I do.
The necklace is 17 ½” long and ends with a complementary silver hook and eye fastener.
The gray beads are 10 mm. D. (1/2” D.) The focal pearl is approximately 20 mm. x 16 mm. or 3/4” x 6/8”
This necklace is one of an edition of 3-6 such necklaces so the natural pearl and its size would be slightly different in each–but just as complementary
The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box, ready for a gift.
