Product Description
This is a monochromatic, simple, and very appealing necklace. The handmade nuggets look as if you collected and shaped them yourself. It is made out of unakite beads, which are usually medium green and pink but here are VERY LIGHT beige green with touches of white and pink. Unakite was first discovered in North Carolina, but now it is also mined in South Africa, Brazil, and China.
I decided to contrast the stones with a shiny, free form Hamilton gold focal, which can be worn in the center–or to the side, which would make it a bit more sophisticated.
The one-of-a-kind necklace is 18 ¾” long and ends with a 1/2’” D. complementary brass toggle.
Because each nugget’s shape differs from its neighbors, it would not be feasible—or even useful—to measure them all. Let’s just say that they are all approximately 15 mm. x 7 mm.
I separated the nuggets with tiny bronze beads.
The necklace will arrive in an attractive jewelry box.
