Once upon time, there was a first lady whose photos always showed her wearing a necklace of large, round, white pearls. She proudly let everybody know that they were not real. You may also feel proud to wear this necklace of high quality Czech glass pearls 5/8 inches in diameter. Its color is gorgeous! It is a very soft, light green which the photos do not capture well. In order to “rescue” the necklace from looking old fashioned, I introduced a large, flat, green aventurine bead as an off-center focal point. (You may wear the focal in the center as well.) I also placed in-between the pearls 3 mm. round amazonite beads and ended this one of a kind necklace with a sterling silver, attractive, hook-type fastener.
The necklace is 17 inches long and the flat aventurine bead is 1 ½” x 1”. #283
