The focal is 20 mm. in diameter, the rectangle beads are 17 mm. x 8 mm. x 8 mm. and the black beads are 3 x 4 mm. Altogether, there are 170 beads in this necklace!

This one-of-a-kind continuous necklace is 32” long. It is striking and elegant and would look good on many backgrounds.
The millefiori glass technique goes back to ancient Rome, although the beads from those days were called mosaic beads. The term “millefiori” became official in 1849. “Mille” means a thousand in Italian, and “fiori” means flowers. If you wish, you may read more about this technique in my blog.
