Wine-Colored Long Pearl Necklace with Silver Nuggets

I usually am bored with traditional pearl necklaces, so I find myself always adding something unexpected to every one that I make. In this case, I added to these ‘’button’’ freshwater pearls, which have a rich wine color and are interestingly uneven, a few uneven vintage silver nuggets. I also interspersed them with small white pearls. I did so in order to lighten up the wine color as well as to create a space between the pearls instead of the traditional knot used to prevent the pearls from rubbing against each other.
This one-of-a-kind necklace’s silver pieces can be worn in front for a focal, or to the side. It is a continuous 37” long necklace
